December 30th, 2008

The study of deutsche-startups.de and Innofact shows as well, that gamers are basically willing to pay for the service: Admittedly, 77 % of the internet-users don’t want to pay for the browser game itself, but accept advertising in the game. There should be a free basic version of the browser game, but 12 % of the players would pay for special features. For 10 % of the gamers, a game free of advertising is the bait – they would be open for payment to have no ads. 9 % of the internet-users think it’s adequate to pay a monthly contribution for the browser game to enjoy all its features.
